shadows of birds
touch fractured stone
this cold window
her (brief) smile
the ocean was haunted
(one fool)
a prisoner of yesterday
(fall and) remember
the (miserable) fish
their bone eyes
wet (but almost) stars
piercing night
as (ice) men linger
red-fisted morning
we fall like those
liquid bones
trusting the lie with cold
miserable coffee
who has poetry
after night fades
(the circle drawn)
words almost born
surrounding
she said perhaps
here
is our yesterday
the light wild and brilliant
like poetry
open window
a voice from yesterday
lingers
the only hand that pierces steel she says is change
embrace this life soon it melts lingering like candy
