today marks the beginning of an amazing week in my daughter’s life, so it is especially meaningful that the latest Haigaonline (volume 13 issue 1) contains a collaboration between the two of us in the ‘contemporary haiga’ section. thank you so much, yousei! we had the wedding yesterday, and it truly was a blessed day. my daughter and her new husband are very good for each other, and very happy. they brought together families from two very different parts of the world and made us one.
